Ganguly makes a big statement about Ind vs Pak bilateral series

Ind vs Pak: Sourav Ganguly, the president of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI), has no hopes about India vs Pakistan bilateral series until the government from the two ends agrees on the same platform.

Following the disturbing political relationship among the neighbors, they have not met in any bilateral series since 2012. Since then, they are only meeting in the ICC or ACC events as any such last assignment was the Super 12 game of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2021, Ind vs Pak.

Notably, the men in green overpowered the men in blue by 10 wickets to declare a historic win.

Ganguly, while talking to media, stated that the synopsis to put up Ind vs Pak bilateral series on the board neither is in his hands nor PCB’s chairman, Ramiz Raja’s hands.

No Ind vs Pak bilateral series until governments work on it – Ganguly

This is not in the hands of the boards. At world tournaments, the two teams 🇵🇰 & 🇮🇳 do play each other. Bilateral cricket has been stopped for years and this is something that the respective governments have to work on. This is not in Rameez’s hands, nor mine.
