What do people have to say on Karachi Kings' defeats?

Encountering the table-toppers Multan Sultans on Wednesday, Karachi Kings have lost the eighth consecutive match of the Pakistan Super League’s seventh edition (PSL 2022). The eighth back-to-back defeats in a single season for Kings have broken the prior record of Lahore Qalandars who lost six games in a row during PSL 2018.

Not only this, but Kings now have overall nine back-to-back defeats on counting the play-off failure versus Peshawar Zalmi during PSL 2021. Qalandars were toppers of losing most games in PSL overall as they had eight defeats from 2017-18. Also, they lost seven games straightaway from PSL 2018-19.

Kings are now the only team to lose the most number of consecutive matches in a single PSL season and most back-to-back matches overall.

They got out of the tournament officially after their last defeat versus Islamabad United, however, Sultans, who won their seventh game out of eight played, have qualified for the playoffs becoming the first team to do so.
