The HBL PSL 6 has winded up the robin stage games and the cricketing fraternity will witness the playoffs of the extravaganza to kick off by 21st June. As the second phase of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) commenced in Abu Dhabi, it has entirely to be winded up here amidst the ECB-PCB contract.

Notably, the top two teams of the HBL PSL 6 points table, Islamabad United and Multan Sultans will lock horns at 6:00 PM PST on Monday at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. The winners of the encounter will directly be qualified for the final whereas, the losers will have one more chance to compete in Eliminator 2.

After the Qualifier round, Eliminator 2 is staged on the same data at 11:00 PM PST. The third and fourth teams of the event, Peshawar Zalmi, and Karachi Kings will battle in the contest. The winners among the two will be proceeded to the Eliminator 2 to compete with the failures of the Qualifier whereas, the losers of this stage will be directly eliminated from the league.

Eliminator 2, as mentioned, will be contested between the losers of the Qualifier and the winners of Eliminator 1. The defeated side will go home whereas, the triumphant of this stage will progress to the final to rival with the awaited winners of Qualifier in the final for their opponent.

Karachi Kings:

Karachi Kings, being the title defenders and not being so good or bad in the ongoing season, might be playful in the deciding stages to clinch their second trophy in a row. As United have befallen with the most number of supremacies remaining undefeated 8 times, might suffer a downfall in the concluding stages. The Shadab-led team has stayed strong winning the last five matches and might be optimistic for a defeat undeliberately.

Multan Sultans:

Sultans, who lost their last encounter, may kick off their playoffs journey with a victory over United in the Qualifier round to reach the final. Notably, they had to go home despite reaching the playoffs last season too, hence, it can be a golden opportunity for them they deliberately may utilize.
