First-ever international tape ball cricket tournament begins in Karachi

The first-ever international tape ball cricket tournament has kick-started in Karachi on Monday, 20th June, followed by a rocking ceremony.

The 12-team contest got highlighted after presenting the thrilling first three matches. All matches are broadcasted live at Geo Super.

In the inaugural match, Inverex Cricket Club faced GFS KDA Strikers and thrashed them away by 20 runs. Whereas, in the following match, Quetta Gladiators’ owner, Nadeem Omar-owned Omar Associates Gladiators beat Kotli Eleven by 10 wickets.

As far as the final match of Day 3 is concerned, King XI’s bowling line-up took over Defence Eagles comfortably. In the chase of 125 runs, team Defence could only manage 55 runs.

The schedule for the Day 2 is as follows:

Markhor Fighters vs Kotli XI

Omar Associate Gladiators vs Inverex Cricket Club

GFS KDA Strikers vs Korangi Kings

SMS Gymkhana vs ND Telecom

Osaka Circo vs Kings XI
