Shan Masood to lead his team in T20 match against India

PCB confirms tri-nation series in New Zealand before World Cup 2022

Pakistani opener Shan Masood is ready to lead his team, Derbyshire, in a T20 encounter versus India. The warm-up match has been scheduled for July 1 at Derby, hence the men in blue’s Test players will not be participating in the one-off T20.

It is because they will feature in a one-off Test match against England from July 1 to 5. The match is the leftover of the last year’s five-match Test series, which was called off amidst the COVID hit in the Indian camp.

Masood has been an essential part of Derbyshire throughout the County Championship 2022. As of now, he is leading the club in the ongoing T20 Blast and will face India alongside his team in the T20 match next week.

Moreover, on the basis of his performances, in-form batter has also been named in the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka scheduled to be played from mid-July.
