The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reported to announce the new central contracts in July, and the revised loss is likely to feature multiple new names. According to reports, the PCB’s new central contracts 2021-22 will see the promotion of many youngsters, whereas, those, who have been underperforming recently, might be dropped or demoted.
The talks in regard are on the way and any detailed debate on the topic will be disclosed soon after Eid ul Fitr. It will not be wrong to say that there will be no such news at least in the next 10 days. The renewed contracts are likely to be issued on July 1 whereas, the existing contracts will expire on June 30th.
As per reliable sources, top performers of the recently coiled-up season (domestic or international) will regain or make their places on the list. The spot of Sarfaraz Ahmed is yet debatable for the wicket-keeping post. Whereas, pacer Hasan Ali is likely to be demoted.
The central contracts, as always, will see three categories, A, B, and C, placing cricketers on behalf of their recent performances deciding their worth till they expire.
