Pak vs SA: The series for Pakistan to judge their talent ahead of the T20 World Cup
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been inconsistent in choosing the best combination for playing XI in the limited-over series. Once the player is selected, he is dropped instantly after a trial or diminishes entirely after two-three matches.
Despite the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 being just a few months away, the board’s selection committee is still undone with the selection of the finished squads are the raw players who keep on revolving in different series.

Pakistan, commencing its cricket season on the peak, is currently locking horns with South Africa in a three-match ODI series. The two teams will be witnessing a four-match T20I series as well that can be an authentic chance for the PCB to check their players.
The thing that should be on the agenda for the national board should be giving the chances to the same players in the upcoming series before the T20 World Cup to provide an improving and practicing platform before the world’s event.
If this rotation keeps on taking place, the board will be not knowing the best playing XI combination amidst too many trials with too many players.
The opening woes still exist and the board is continuing to evaluate the domestic young talent. The professional’s ones are at home except a few who have been making it to the playing XI from a past few series.

Pak vs SA: The series for Pakistan to judge their talent ahead of the T20 World Cup
The national team is scheduled to play against Zimbabwe, England, West Indies, Afghanistan, and probably New Zealand before the T20 World Cup starts in India. These series provide Pakistan a number of chances to keep their playing XI consistent.
The team should go with minor changes rather than the major so ‘on the agenda’ players can improve the knocks till then.
