New Zealand tour of Pakistan has got green signals after the security panel of the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has found things impregnable in men in green’s realm upon exploring.
Security, which has been a major concern for the foreigners to play cricket in Pakistan, has costed the cricket-loving nation’s image. Despite devotees’ love for the sport, they anticipated a long span for it to come back.
After the untiring efforts of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the security concerns now seem to be diminishing with time as more teams will to voyage the land of pacers to play cricket in beautiful stadiums.
Unquestionably, it is an immense success for Pakistan to welcome the bigger names, teams from the cricketing world. In the last few years, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Bangladesh have toured Pakistan. Now, it is time for the Kiwis alongside England and Australia respectively.
However, as Kiwis are set to tour for a three-match ODI, five-match T20I series in Rawalpindi, Gadaffi stadiums respectively, numerous names among their big players may miss out.
There are speculations that their contestants, having contracted by the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises, will prefer the league over the national duties.
