The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are finalizing the developments for Pak vs Eng seven-match T20I series including the venue. And as far as the reports are revealed, National Stadium Karachi is not likely to host any of the match.
According to the news, the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Gadaffi Stadium Lahore, and Multan Stadium are on the cards to host Pak vs Eng later this year. Notably, Pakistan and England will participate in a seven-match T20I series which will be played in two parts.
England will reach the cricket-loving nation in the second week of September and both teams will fly to Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022 in the midst of the series. The series will be completed with Tests in November-December after the teams will fly back to Pakistan on winding up their World Cup campaigns.
It must be noted that England were scheduled to visit Pakistan before the T20 World Cup 2022, however, turned down the tour citing players’ mental well-being and COVID reasons. Notably, England are touring Pakistan for the first time in 17 years.
