Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars are now in huge combat with each other to get a ticket to the PSL 6 playoffs as the top three participants, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, and Peshawar Zalmi have crossed the remnant. Either the Sohail-led or the Imad-led team will be clasping its way to be in the qualifiers’ gathering of the PSL 6. But what decides their qualification?

Kings and Qalandars maintain the net run rates of -0.212 and -0.589 respectively. KK, although owning the better net run rate, are placed a rank after LQ on the points table on behalf of winning fewer games than LQ. Now, the men in red-blue will stand in their last encounter facing Quetta Gladiators, of the league to either cement or decay their place in the PSL 6 playoffs.

If Kings will be victorious, they will be heading towards the playoffs kicking the men in grey-green out of the tournament whereas, if they lose, the net run rate will probably be decided between KK and LQ or it may proceed Sohail and co ahead directly with Kings’ mediocre defeat.
