Karachi Kings have surpassed Lahore Qalandars’ record for losing ‘most consecutive matches in a single season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). As the PSL 2022 commences, King underwent their seventh match versus Islamabad United on Monday. Shadab Khan’s men handed over Babar Azam and co their back-to-back seventh defeat of the season.
During PSL 2018, Lahore lost six consecutive matches and the losing streak continued to seven with their first defeat in the 2019 season.
However, the Kings have portrayed an even poorer showcase losing seven consecutive matches in a single season. It makes the losing streak of eight overall losing playoffs in PSL 2021.
Kings are finally out of PSL 2022 now with no minimal chance remaining. If they would have won tonight’s match versus United, there would have been some ifs and buts left for them.
Following their mediocre showcase, they are last on the PSL 2022 points table with 0 points and 0 wins.
