Kainat Qazi, a bowling-All Rounder who hails from Toronto, Ont. plays for Tranzac Women’s Academy in Scarborough Women’s Cricket League.
She did her schooling in Dhahran High School, Saudi Arabia, and had a degree in International Development from the University of Toronto and is now pursuing a career with the Aga Khan Foundation Canada.
Qazi made her Canadian T20I debut against the arch-rival United States of America Women cricket team during ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Qualifier 2019,
at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill in 2019. Interestingly, a total of 22 women made their T20I debut for the USA and Canada respectively on that day.
Qazi has a twin sister and she loves to drive stick shift cars instead of automatic ones.
Qazi is highly motivated and active to promote women’s cricket in Canada and she wishes to take the sport each and every corner of the country.
