The second version of the Legends League Cricket is likely to be played in September 2022 and will feature four privately-owned teams. The first edition was played in Oman, Muscat; however, witnessing great support from India, LLC 2 is set to be scheduled in India this time.
Pakistani cricketers are not likely to participate in the LLC following the visa issue. It has been heard that the Indian government is not in favour of allowing their visas, which is a big factor in their unavailability in the contest.
According to BCCI,
“I can’t say much. If Pakistani cricketers get a visa from our government, then will play if not then no. We (BCCI) have no in the tournament or visa things,”
Following the poor relations between the two countries, they do not meet in bilateral series. Any such cricket was played back in 2012 between India and Pakistan. They now only face each other in ACC or ICC events.
This is why they are not even allowed in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It has been heard that no Pakistani cricketer will take part in the newly-introduced UAE’s ILT20 and CSA T20 league for the same reason.
