The first one-day international in the Dafabet USA vs Ireland’s men international series scheduled for Boxing Day has been canceled after the COVID positive case emerged from the umpiring panel of the match officials.
Consequently, all four umpires are unavailable for the first ODI with three of them being in close contact with the remaining one tested COVID positive.
The second and third ODIs, scheduled for 28th and 30th December, will go ahead as planned. But, if required, a new umpire as an alternative for the COVID positive will be named.
