Are fans satisfied with Pakistan T20 World Cup squad?

The Pakistan T20 World Cup squad has been unveiled but the cricket devotees do not look satisfied as they miss the ‘most anticipated’ players who have been left out.

Shoaib Malik Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and a few more, who were among the fan’s most favorite, now imaginary World Cup squads, have been dropped out frustrating the devotees consequently.

What makes people more furious is the addition of Asif Ali, alongside Khushdil Shah, who have failed to deliver on an international level so far in the recent encounters. However, Imad Wasim, fortunately, has been re-added to the crew but the match-winning contributions of Malik, Wahab, Amir, are already missed by the lookouts.

From the 19 players who were part of the Pakistan squad for the T20I series in England and the West Indies, Arshad Iqbal, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Sharjeel Khan, and Usman Qadir have been left out, though Fakhar and Usman along with Shahnawaz Dahani have been named as the three traveling reserves.

However, the PCB believes adding Khushdil and Asif Ali in the middle-order may help Pakistan to tackle the middle order issues. PCB agrees that the duo has combined “fewer figures” but has “abilities”.

The fifteen-member squad adds five batsmen, two wicket-keeping batsmen, four all-rounders, and four fast bowlers alongside the three mentioned reserves.
