Alex Hales clarifies why he has opted out of IPL 2022

England’s star batsman, Alex Hales has put himself out of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) which once again has deprived the player to experience the cash-rich league delights.

The batter at first became the league’s part back in 2015 for Mumbai Indians but did not get a single game. Later, he was left unsold in the 2018 auction but was picked as David Warne’s replacement later. He finally got a chance to make his IPL debut versus Rajasthan Royals in the Orange jersey. Once again remaining unsold in the 2021 auction, the batter was prioritized in this year’s mega auction, signed for INR 1.5 Crore by the Kolkata Knight Riders. However, he has chosen to sideline himself citing mental well-being and bio bubble fatigue.

Bio bubble life has not been easy on the players since many have talked about it. Hales, who is done with such life, took it to his social media to announce the decision which is respected by the KKR. The Purple Force has named Australia’s Aaron Finch as Hale’s replacement for the upcoming IPL 2022.

Alex Hales’ statements on pulling himself out of IPL 2022:

Finch, who has been bought as the English batter’s replacement, will play for the same price as him. As far as Finch’s career in IPL is considered, the Australian batter has played with eight teams so far including Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Daredevils, Pune Warriors, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions, and Kings XI Punjab. Most recently, he has worked with the Royal Challengers Bangalore. KKR will be Finch’s ninth team in his IPL tenure since 2010.

It must be noted KKR will play their first game against the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2022 opener scheduled for 26th March at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai,
