The ICC has announced that the ten-team 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa, (recently postponed from Nov. 2022 to Feb. 2023), top-seven teams – from the ten nations who participated in the previous event – earn direct qualification.
Hosts South Africa have gained an automatic qualification, and the remaining two spots will be determined through regional qualifiers, slated to begin in August next year.
Canada’s Women’s Cricket team will gear up for the ICC World 2023 World Cup Americas Qualifiers, scheduled for September 2021, hosted by the USA.
