WTC final: A chance for Williamson and Kohli to win their maiden ICC title
The final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC final) is to lock horns between Kohli-led India and Williamson-led New Zealand. The lucky participants have been successful through the inaugural version of the event unlocking their ways to contest in the final.
Notably, both the captains previously have led their respective teams twice in the mega ICC events and will be marking their third presence as the skipper ahead of the WTC final. However, it is astonishing to analyze that none of both have won an ICC title yet and will be rivaling to clutch the maiden ICC trophy.
It is pertinent to mention that Indian captain, Virat Kohli, made his first bestowal as the captain in any ICC competition in 2017 as the men in blue combat Pakistan in the final of the Champions Trophy 2017. He then supervised the crew in the World Cup 2019 being annihilated under the Kiwis in the semi-final. Now, chronicling his ubiquity as the leader in his third ICC trial, Kohli will solicit to utilize the chance to grasp the WTC final trophy.
