Saad Bin Zafar, the Pakistan-born Canadian Cricket Player, is the only Canadian to feature in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Saad was auctioned for the CPL 2020 as St Lucia Zouks bid him for worthy pennies.

The all-rounder is a national cricket player having abilities to deliver left-arm orthodox spin and batting. The terrific player made his T20I debut against the Cayman Islands and lastly donned the Canadian jersey against UAE in the T20I match.

He has represented ICC Americas and is a big fan of franchise Cricket. He first made it in CPL 2015 when St Kitts & Nevis Patriots when the team needed a replacement for Bangladesh’s Mahmudullah.

Saad was called up as a regular player in CPL 2020 but the season for Lucia Zouks did not go as expected. They lost maximums. Saad could participate in the 5th and 7th match but did not inspire the watchers.

Playing against Barbados in the 5th match, he bowled 2 overs at an economy of 5.00 but did not bat. Whereas in the second match he featured in, he grasped no wicket conceding 21 runs in an over.

Coming in the terminal spots to bat, Saad scored 1 run on 2 balls. He was not seen later.
