On 13th September, Ramiz Raja officially became the 36th chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after completing the succession process after Ehsan Mani’s resignation.
Whilst holding his first-ever conference as a chairman, Ramiz emphasized various points that will be raised and developed during his regime.

Out of multiple developments, he is keen to work on, Ramiz does not look optimistic about Pak vs Ind series. He believes there are a lot of aspects to focus on and build in Pakistan Cricket rather than focusing on the Indo-Pak clash.

Ramiz Raja opens up on Ind vs Pak series
He said that the PCB will not run after the BCCI to hold a bilateral series following poor political relations that have damaged sportsman spirit among the arch-rivals. It is to be noted that the two countries have not met in a bilateral series since 2012.
“We will not run behind India to play series with us. Immediate series talks with India is impossible as due to politics, the sporting event is damaged. Our main focus is to address problems at the domestic, club and school level,” he added.
