Pakistan and West Indies will play a four-match T20I series to begin by 28th July as Cricket West Indies has announced a reduction in the number of matches on Sunday.
Earlier, the two teams were scheduled to play five T20Is to begin by 27th July but amidst the ongoing ODI series between Australia and West Indies, the men in green and maroon will confront each other only in four T20I matches.
It is pertinent to mention that Aus vs WI series is to end on 26th July, and is a part of the ICC ODI Super League,
“The adjustment […] was necessary due to the changes to the fixtures for the ongoing ODI series between West Indies and Australia, which are part of the International Cricket Council’s ODI Super League, which concludes on July 26,” the board added.
Pak vs WI T20I series: Number of matches reduced
The four games now begin by 28th July and will be concluded till 3rd August to be followed by two red ball games on 12th and 20th August. Below is the complete and revised schedule:
July 28: 1st T20I match at Kensington Oval
July 31: 2nd T20I match at Guyana National Stadium
August 1: 3rd T20I match at Guyana National Stadium
August 3: 4th T20I match at Guyana National Stadium
August 12-16: 1st Test at Sabina Park
August 20-24: 2nd Test at Sabina Park
