For the men in green, the chase started a bit slower for the men in green and almost looked impossible till Imad Wasim’s fall. Losing Babar Azam in the powerplay was a huge setback as the batter on the crease kept on looking for a partner to build a partnership with.

Later, Asif Ali, another appreciated candidate who was under the hot waters, played an astonishing inning, turning in a match-winning knock with 27* off 12 balls. He joined anticipated Shoaib Malik on the pitch who was sensibly dragging it deep for the nation.
