The Match 30th, RCB vs KKR encounter of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) was subjected to cancelation after two of the players, Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier of the Kolkata Knight Riders got COVID positive.
The KKR is advised to go under isolation along with the teams that have faced KKR in the last two weeks. Despite the alarming situation, the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) says that no further matches will be rescheduled now.
All the matches will take place as per their schedule and KKR vs RCB becomes the only game of the season to get rescheduled amidst the COVID.
No match will be rescheduled now, says BCCI despite rising COVID cases
“Just spoke to a BCCI official, he says no other match has to be rescheduled as of now,” a source said in a tweet.
Notably, Cancel IPL is the recent trend on Twitter after multiple COVID positive tests have been reported. However, BCCI is in no mood of giving up and will be commencing the league amidst the health threats.
